The ICFAI University Raipur hosted a national workshop on “NEP 2020 Sensitization and Awareness” under the NEP 2020 Cell and IQAC. The event aimed to disseminate the key principles and implementation strategies of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, with participation from educators, policymakers, and administrators nationwide. The workshop began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by Chief Guests Prof. (Dr.) G. A. Ghanshyam, Joint Director cum State Nodal Officer of NEP 2020 at the Directorate of Higher Education, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and Dr. D. K. Shrivastava, Nodal Officer of NEP 2020 at the Directorate of Higher Education, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Prof. (Dr.) Satya Prakash Dubey, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Manish Upadhyay. Mr. Dilip Mishra, NEP2020 Coordinator, updated on NEP implementation at the university, while Prof. Manish Upadhyay welcomed guests and highlighted the university’s achievements in Academic Session 2023–24. Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Dubey emphasized raising NEP awareness among educators and students. Prof. Ghanshyam discussed NEP’s transformative vision and strategic roadmap, and Prof. Shrivastava elaborated on structural changes, new pedagogical approaches, and technology integration. The workshop featured interactive sessions, panel discussions, and Q&A segments, covering multidisciplinary education, vocational training, digital learning, and assessment reforms. Dr. Piyush Thakur concluded with a vote of thanks, with over 150 participants expressing appreciation for the insights shared.
